From your description, I'm not completely clear on whether the printer is failing on the wired network connection, a USB connection, or both, so I'd like to understand exactly what you're seeing before suggesting specific troubleshooting.
 

Could you help with a few details?

  • What is the exact HP printer model?
  • Is the printer connected by Ethernet cable (wired network) or USB cable?
  • What is the exact error message shown on the printer, computer, or HP Smart app?
  • When you mention "wire connection error," does the printer show connected to the network but unavailable, or does it fail to detect the cable entirely?
  • When you say "USB application does not work," are you referring to HP Smart, HP Scan, or another application?
  • Did this start after a firmware update, Windows/macOS update, router change, or network change?
  • Are you able to print a Printer Information Report or Network Configuration Page from the printer?

Please describe what you see on the screen as precisely as possible the wording of any error message, flashing lights, connection status, or unusual behavior. Right now, the symptoms could point to a network communication issue, a driver/software issue, or a USB detection problem, and I want to make sure we're addressing the correct cause before we proceed.
