@Tucsonladdie, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Wireless Connectivity!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Restart Router and Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Power off the router and wait for about 30 seconds before powering it back on.
  • Once the router is back on, turn on the printer.

Ensure Network Compatibility:

  • Make sure your wireless network is set up and functioning correctly.
  • Check that the printer and the computer are on the same network (SSID).

Check Network Credentials:

  • Double-check the SSID and password to make sure they are correct. Refer to the documentation provided with your router.
  • For networks using WPA or WPA2 encryption, ensure that the password is correct.

Use Wireless Setup Wizard:

  • On the printer control panel, navigate to the Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • Select your network from the list.
  • Enter the network password carefully and ensure there are no mistakes.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Make sure the wireless radio on the printer is turned on.

Step-by-Step Solution Using Wireless Setup Wizard

Access the Wireless Setup Wizard:

  • On the printer control panel, press the Wireless button.
  • Scroll to and select Wireless Settings.
  • Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the on-screen instructions.

Enter Network Credentials:

  • When prompted, select your wireless network from the list.
  • Enter the Wi-Fi password. Ensure the password is entered correctly.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
