when I try to connect my printer to my wifi. I hit the wifi icon then hit the gear wheel and then hit wireless settings, then wireless setup wizard this is when I get the message it is locked by the person who setup the printer. how do I fix this issue to setup the printer to my new wifi network?

To fix the "locked by the person who set up the printer" message on the HP OfficeJet Pro 774, you must clear an unknown admin lock.

 

  1. Swipe down on the home screen to open the Dashboard.
  2. Tap the Setup (Gear) icon > Network Setup.
  3. Tap Restore Network Settings and select Yes.
  4. Once the wireless light begins to blink blue, use the HP Smart app or the Wireless Setup Wizard on the screen to connect to your new Wi-Fi.
