@Chris-13, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.
It sounds like you're having a frustrating time setting up your HP Deskjet 3052A wirelessly with your Windows 11 computer, especially with the mention of a "blacklisted IP." Let's break this down and get you back to printing.
Reset Network Settings on Printer:
- On the printer control panel, press the Wireless button and the Cancel button at the same time.
- This will restore the network settings to default and enable setup mode.
Download and Install HP Smart App:
- Go to the HP Smart App download page. HP Smart
- Install the app and open it.
- Click “Set up a new printer” and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi.
Ensure Printer and PC Are on the Same Network:
- Double-check that both your printer and PC are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Avoid using guest networks or VPNs during setup.
Check for IP Blacklisting:
- If HP support mentioned your IP might be blacklisted, try restarting your router to obtain a new IP address.
- Alternatively, log in to your router settings and manually release/renew the IP or change the MAC address of your printer (if supported).
Use Wi-Fi Direct as a Backup:
- If network setup fails, you can print using Wi-Fi Direct:
- On the printer, press the Wireless button to enable Wi-Fi Direct.
- On your PC, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the printer’s Wi-Fi Direct network (e.g., HP-Print-xx-Deskjet 3052A).
- Use the HP Smart app or built-in Windows print dialog to print.
I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.
Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
