Hello,
my printer (Officejet8012e) requires a wi-fi update (printer update check) before starting. Download 100% -> update -> restart and then again ... again and again. The power button does not work, the printer does not connect (HP Smart).

I created a mobile hotspot - result the same. No shutdown during installation.

Some ideas? Thanks.

I want to contact support in my country and after filling in the model and serial number I will see this message

inside printer is label width: OfficeJet8012e (228F8B) and serial nummber is OfficeJet8010? Ist not problem?

 

I'm unhappy with the whole situation (my first post) and I don't understand what happened. I'm trying to find information, but I'm even more and more desperate. My printer is out of service for next day and no information here 😞

Thanks for your private message, but it doesn't work. Is this really correct instruction for my printer? i can't enter to semi reset menu ... my printer doesn't even have any arrow buttons. Power button only. Please send me correct instruction for my printer, or more detailed. ...I don't know why the "back" button called BL? BL is Back? I press the button (back) as your instructions (it even when not illuminated), but nothing happens.

If i press the power button while power is applying... i see this screen (not illuminated screen), but buttons (back, home) not respond.
