I have a Samsung M288x Printer and plan to add it to a new laptop for wireless printing. How can I find out its WPS pin? I have the manual which did not work. When I followed the menu: I hold and press PIN button for 2 seconds. It supposed to pop up the Pin number. Instead, it showed " saved". Besides, when I printed a configuration page, there was no WPS pin number too.
Thank you for your advice.

Following your instruction,
We failed to get WPS Pin from the control panel of printer.
And HP smart did not cover the Samsung printer.
We finally use IP to add the Driver of Samsung M288x Printer.
Unfortunately, though the printer linked Surface pro 11/Window 11, the printer did not print in good order. It keeps on printing endlessly blank papers when receipt of print order. It seemed not match the surface pro 11 or window 11.
We ask if there an updated version of driver of this printer. Even we located Samsung Universal Print Driver for Window version V300.16.0101.01, it was blocked when we install it.
Thanks

Hi @Jensen7,
Thank you for the response.
Since @Garp_senchau is not available at the moment, I will be assisting you further.
Here's what you can try next:
Stop the Endless Blank Pages
That happens when the wrong or generic driver is used. Here's what to do:
Open Devices and Printers
Right-click your Samsung M288x > choose "Remove Device"
Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features and uninstall any existing Samsung/HP printer drivers
Then restart your Surface Pro (let's give it a fresh start)
Install the Right Samsung M288x Driver
Since you're on Windows 11 and the old Samsung Universal Print Driver (V3.00.16.0101.01) was blocked, you’ll need to bypass Smart App Control or get a signed version:
Try This First:
Download the official Samsung Print Driver V3.00.16.01 for your M288x.
Search for "Samsung Xpress M288x Series" and choose the Basic Print and Scan Driver or the UPD listed.
Can't install? Try Compatibility Mode:
If Windows blocks it again:
Right-click the installer .exe > Properties
Go to Compatibility tab
Check “Run this program in compatibility mode for” → choose Windows 10 or 8
Tick “Run as Administrator.”
Click OK and run the installer
WPS PIN Alternative: Manual Wi-Fi Setup
If WPS isn’t working (common with older models), do this:
Connect the printer to your PC via USB
Open the Samsung Printer Center (gets installed with driver)
Look for Network Settings > Wireless Setup
Manually enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password
Disconnect USB after successful config
This way, you bypass the WPS and still get it on Wi-Fi.
I hope this helps.
