Hi PlaneteDigitale,
Yes, I misunderstood, my apologies. The answer to your inquiry is no. There is no way to add pages to an existing all ready saved PDF file. They only think I can suggest is to print out the existing pages and rescan all of the pages together.
I know that is not ideal, but it is the only solution I can think of to get all the pages into one file.

Hi PlaneteDigitale,
I would like to help you scan multiple pages. What happens when you try? Are you getting an error, or are they multiple pages scanning and not saving into one file?
Please also let me know if you have a Mac or Windows operating system and which version. Thanks.

Hi PD,
Thank you.
Please use the instructions below.
1. Open the HP Scan window with one of the following methods:
- Double-click the HP Scan icon (
) on the Windows desktop.
- Click the Windows icon (
), click All Programs , click the HP folder, click the name of your printer, and then click HP Scan .
2. Select the appropriate scan option for the item you are scanning.
3. In the HP Scan window, to the right of each scan option there are default recommended settings for scan size, output type, resolution, and file type (for text scans only). Use these default settings unless you need to customize the settings for your scan
4. Click Scan . A preview of the scan displays (by default)
5. When the scan preview displays, perform one of the following actions
- Click the Plus sign (
) on the left side of the window to scan additional pages. If you are not using an ADF, you will need to load the next page of the document onto the scanner glass to add each additional page.
NOTE: Scanning additional pages is supported at 300 dpi or lower.
If you are not satisfied with the scan, click the X icon ( ) to delete the scanned file, and then click Back to scan a new file.
- Click Save to capture the scanned file but leave HP Scan open.
- Click Done to capture the scanned file and close HP Scan.
The information above and much more can be found in the following HP document. How to Scan: Windows 7 - How to scan with HP software - How to scan multiple pages into a single fil...
I hope this answer your inquiry!

Hi There,
I'm sorry if I was unclear but I'm not trying add more pages to a current file but an existing (previously saved) PDF document.
Can HP Photosmart 5520 do that? Other brand All-in-One products do offer this.
Thanking you in advance.
PD
