I've been able to set up my 3510 on my wireless network. I'm able to send a test print from Cloud Print to the printer. The printer copies. However, it can't scan to the computer--it asks that the software be added to the computer. Since the Chromebook doesn't have a cd r/w, where can I find the software online & download it?
Thanks!

Hi,
There are no drivers avaialable for Chromebook, print functionality is available via Google Cloud Print.
You may scan using the Webscan interface of the printer by following these steps:
- In a Web browser such as Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, open a new window or tab.
- In the address bar, type the product IP address given on the test page, and then press Enter on your keyboard.Figure 1: Example IP address in the browser address barThe EWS\Printer information page opens.
- Browse to the Scan tab of the EWS.NOTE:Webscan might need to be enabled before you try to scan. Click the Settings tab and locate Webscan under administrative tools to enable the function.
- Specify the document type, color preference, paper size, resolution, quality, and brightness.
- Click Start Scan .

I just purchased a Samsung Series 2 Chromebook.
I did all the steps you outlined and was able to connect to my printer via web browser and scan docs, but I can only scan them in jpeg format. If I select PDF it scans and then tells me the file could not be found.
Do I need to do something additional to enable the scan to pdf feature?
Thanks!

On my Chromebox, I went into Administrative Tools to enable the Webscan function as you recommended, however, a dialog box said that I will get a warning that the connection/certificate is invalid but to proceed anyway. I did. I'm concerned since Google said it is 'unsafe' and the "HTTPS" is crossed out in red. It looks rather ominous. Is this OK?
