I still cannot find my HP Laserjet Pro M276nw printer in the HP AiO Remote App on iOS.
Most recent test I did is to bypass the AAExp and connect the M276nw directly to a LAN port on the AAExt, and afterwards verify the IP-address of the M276nw, but the HP AiO Remote App for iOS simply can not find the M276nw, even if I enter the verified IP-address directly into the App. I don't know what other tests I can do to make the HP AiO Remote App work together with the HP Laserjet Pro M276nw. Please help!
Additional hardware information:
Firmware version on both AAExp and AAExt is up to date, version 7.6.4.
Best regards,
Bas

I am sorry I do not understand what AAExp or AAExt are?
Here is a direct link to the m276 firmware so that you can upgrade your printer.
Please try to upgrade your firmware and power cycle your iPad. Then try to connect from the AiO remote. There should be no need to input your ip address the app should automatically find the printer. I will test this again this evening after I have upgraded my firmware.
Thank you.

Latest firmware version20140521 already installed on HP LaserJet Pro M276nw printer, see overview below:
Steps taken:
- Install and verify latest firmware on HP M276nw, version20140521.
- Install and verify latest HP AiO Remote App, v4.2.
- Install and verify latest router firmware, Apple Airport version 7.6.4.
- Assign IP-address in router to wireless MAC-address of HP M276nw printer.
- Shutdown and restart all hardware in my network.
---> No result.
- Attach printer with ethernet cable to router.
- Assign IP-address in router to RJ45-port MAC-address of HP M276nw printer.
- Shutdown and restart all hardware in my network.
---> Still no result.
Still no result, help.

Bas

Thank you for this information. I have tested this app on this printer with both an iPhone 5 and an iPad to an Airport router and a Linsys Router. Both times the app found the printer and was able to print a print job. The only thing I did differently then your configuration was my routers used the default settings.
So my suggestions are:
1. Use the router default settings instead of manually setting IP addresses.
2. Make sure that printer is the same network that the router and all are using a 10. address
Good luck.

If you're still having the issue or anyone else for that matter, follow this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uj9awLeh5qs
For the M276NW model it's in the Security tab. Choose to turn it off. It's the equivalent of "open network" of the model used in the video.
Even if it's a 'security off' the printer is still secure on the wireless network so you wont get surprise printouts of someone else's cat.

Sorry endrightplease, this did not work.
The problem is not: printing to the printer with an iPad and Apple AirPrint, this works fine from day one.
The problem is: connecting to the printer with the HP AiO Remote App, this never worked, no matter what I do.
Enabling the Pint Direct function does not solve this problem.
In the mean time I installed firmware version 20140919 on the M276nw printer, so I have the latest firmware installed.
I have restarted, reset, and finally reinstalled the printer, no result. I have reinstalled the App, no result. I have reset my network and all hardware on it, reset DHCP leases on my router, no result.
Thank you for the effort, endrightplease. Hope this helps for other users.
Best regards, Bas

Issue finally resolved!!!
How you ask? I logged into the settings webpage of the printer via an internet browser on my laptop entering the static IP-address of the printer as the URL. In the settings webpage, under the Network-tab, in the left menu under Configuration I selected the Advanced option. In this Advanced page, under the header Other Settings I checked the checkbox Reset Factory Settings For All Network Settings, and I clicked on the button Apply. Et voila, the HP AiO Remote App on both the iPhone and the iPad instantly found the printer. I still don't know what went wrong in the first place, but more importantly the issue is resolved. It took a while, but it finally works. Me happy!
Best regards, Bas
