HP Envy 5531

My Envy 5531 wont print..I've tried everything but it won't print.  The printer is saying align pages but even the alignment pages wont print and the computer is showing the printer as offline.

Spectacular understanding and commendable description of the issue before posting. Kudos to you on that score. 🙂  You are a valued HP customer and it is paramount to assist you here. I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you. 🙂

 

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:

  • What is the operating system of the computer?
  • Have you performed a hard reset of the printer?
  • Did you try aligning the cartridges?

For starters please check if the cartridges are properly aligned by performing all the prescribed steps from this link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-ENVY-5500-e-All-in-One-Printer-series/5304881/model/5373134/d... and try again.

 

If this does not work please visit the printer offline documents for windows and MAC based on the operating system of the computer as I don’t have this information at this time.
