HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fn
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hello,

I am using this all in one machine from previous some months. From last two weeks its automatic document feeder is not detecting papers loaded on it, whereas it is scanning perfectly from flatbed scanner and also printing fine. This machine is connected via usb cable. i have tried all of available troubleshooting options including reset the printer, cleaning the sensors of ADF etc. etc. I also tried updating the bios of printer but all that does not work for me and feeder is constantly unable to detect any papers loaded on it. I have searched the entire forum but didn’t find any relevant post a quick and right answer, therefore, will be highly appreciated in this regard. Thanks

Should all steps in the threads I provided above be completed to no avail, then the last step would be to perform the NVRAM Programming Reset on your printer. At this time I am going to send you a Private Message with the instructions on how to perform the NVRAM Reset. Please refer to your Private Messages for further instruction.

Good luck! 🙂

I had already checked for paper jams in my all in one machine, but after reading your post i planed to try all the troublshooting steps again in systematic manner as mentioned in Clear jams in the document feeder.  Be honestly i never used to Lift the jam-access cover at all because i did not even know if that can be lifted up. But while following the above article while i Lift the jam-access cover i found a (bank deposit receipt) small page inside there, i just pulled that stuff up. and finally my adf is back to working condition after two months. Thanks to HP Discussion Form.
