Hi @Slp1941 ,

Welcome to the HP forum.

When printing from my iPad using Airprint, I have not come across a way to change from color to greyscale.

When I use the HP ePrint app, I do have an option to change the color settings.

There is no way to set black and white printing as the default.

You will have to keep changing this every time you want to print.

One workaround I have had success with, is removing the tri color cartridge.

The Envy 4500 series can print in single cartridge mode.

Thanks for the tip about removing the tri color cartridge. I wasn't aware you could do this and still print.
