Office jet ink cartridge 950XL

Just bought a brand new box of HP office jet ink cartridges 950 XL & 951 (all cartridges in the same box). When I opened the ink cartridges were not wrapped and there were no stick em tabs to be removed.   I've bought many hp cartridges in the past and they always come sealed, etc.  Is hp going green or did I get a tampered with box,  although there were no signs of that.   Thanks so much, don't want to waste $95.

Hi @Terry271

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you have a concern about the packaging of some recently bought ink cartridges. I would like to help.

HP tries to be as green as possible with its products. The following link will take you to an official HP Youtube video for replacing the 950 Ink cartridge fro an 8600. Replacing a Cartridge - HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One

Surprisingly the answer is: No, there is no plastic to remove.

Score one for the planet :generic: and another for not acquiring a tampered set of ink.
