I have CM1312MFP and same issue with multiple page printing as the rest of the people that are commenting on here..

HW? - call the printers back because obviously it's a fault of your own as many people are affected and a google search shows that other models have the same issue...

FW? - fix it please. I don't want to print one by one all the time...

I have the exact same problem. any solution?

Seems to me everyone has the same problem is there an easy way of changing the rollers. To go through HP service agent is close to the cost of replacing the printer

This seem to be a manifacturing defect i am haveing to replace the feed system at about half the cost of a new machine

I am quite relieved as finally it seems I am not the only one in this world face such problem.

As I said before, I still deeply believe it is a firmware problem (at lease firmware solvable problem) .  If I have the firmware source, I don't mind to spare my time to go for debugging/improving.  But it is almost certain I will never have it and I don't think it is a wise idea to have it reverse engineering, so the only solution I have is to accept this flaw and live with that.

I wish it could be fixed by firmware.  I WISH.

I whish it was to but i put it in to the local service agent and they are having to replace the rollers at half the cost of a new mashine.  I have asked them to suply the old ones and explain the defect.

Today I discover that one dont need to clear the jam after each page, just to press "OK" in response to the error message. The printer will initilizing and print the paper.

I think that indicate the printer have a software bug and not  a real hardware problem. can we proggramed the printer to self press "OK" after each page 🙂

HP guys, are you still out there?  I have an update to you.

I recently have setup a PC to run Ubuntu 13.04 desktop for some project development.  I use the build-in HP driver for my CM1312nfi.  Surprisingly, there is no such mutli-page printing problem (so far).  I have test-printed some multiple-page text file and some multiple-page pdf file.  No page jam problem.  Then right after, I go back to my Win7 PC print some multiple-page file from there, it just jam right after the first page.

Please, just don't tell me that's hardware problem.  I understand HP need to sell hardware for profit.  I understand software update earn only reputation not real money.

Now, It seems to me MAYBE Win7 driver need to be checked.  I wonder how to check whether my Win7 driver is the latest.  There is only a said "FULL Solution 5.1" driver package on your WEB which should be what I am using but I can't ensure as I can only find the driver version from driver pages not the package name.  On the other hand, there is a seperate PCL6 driver on your web, should I use it instead? Or update? (But that's just printer driver,  what about the scanner driver? Besides, I do try it before,  but it didn't work well for me though I can't recall by what.)

(By the way, it seems there is a newer firmware verion out there, which I haven't updated yet.  I probably do it later)

We have had our  CM1312nfi over four years, and it worked well until about a month ago. It started as the issue of always having a paper jam after first page of multi-page files. Informative that others are having the same problem. It has progressed to now happening with single page prints. We cannot do any printing now. We have the same issue with all computeers on the network, running openSUSE Linux and Windows 7.
