HP Recommended
CP 4525

Our CP 4525 is claiming it has a fuser 50.2 error, but we're fairly sure that's not the root issue.

We just recently replaced the top fuser for the first time when this error began showing up. We reseated the top fuser and made sure the tabs on the left and right were all the way in - that was what HP's website said to check on.

We're getting a weird, rapid clicking noise when the printer is starting up that sounds like one of the plastic gears that links to the fuser might be slipping and failing to catch.

We put the old fuser back in, and it's working just fine. No weird clicking noise.
