Right on!  Crystal clear!  Thanks.

If you have time, would you mind answering the following (last) question?  (If you are busy, I would understand with no response.)

I see Power On setting has 1 hour and Timing has 1 week as max.  If you leave your printer always on, then Power On Calbiration will occur only once, correct?

What is the rationale behind different Power On Cal settings?  Why would you set it to 1 hour or 15 mins?  If you turn on your printer and want to print out something immediately, would you set it to a high value like 1 hour so that your print job will not be interefered?  If Power On Cal happens only once after turning on, what is the benefit of one-time power-on calibration?  Just to make sure you start with calibrated environment?

Is Timing setting to cover when you never turn off your printer?  (Without Timing, you will only have one calibration when you turn it on.)

Anyway, thanks for your clarification and I think I will set both to max settings.  Thanks again!

Hi scatjay,

The time settings are designed for the printer not being turned off all the time. If you have it set to 1 hour you would be able to printer right away, and then the printer would run the calibration after the printer is on for an hour. If you set it to 1 week max then the printer would only calibrate once every week.
