Hello all,
In order for the Deskjet 3050 to be able to print from an iPhone or iPad, they will need to be on the same network. Once this is done, you will need to install and use the HP ePrint App on the Apple device as this printer is not an AirPrint enabled printer.
If the printer needs to be connected to the network, follow the below;
- Restore the network defaults on the printer by hitting the Wireless button> Settings> Defaults.
- Most times the wireless radio is off by default, hit the Wireless button> Settings> Enable wireless.
- Open Settings on the iOS device and connect to the network the looks like the printer name, or hpsetup.
- Print a Network Configuration Page, Printing a Network Configuration Page.
- Open Safari, type the I.P address from the above printout and hit Enter.
- click Network and run the Wireless Setup Wizard.
- Once printer light is solid blue, connect the iOS device back to the network.
Review this document for information on printing, Printing from Your Apple Device with Non-Web-Enabled Printers (No Apple AirPrint or HP ePrint Suppor....
I hope this helped.
