Hi MPFOX2014.
Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the HP Forums I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.
I see that you are attempting to print on card stock. This is a task that can be done on a number of different types of paper and sizes. I am going to give you a link as well as some specs on the handling of the paper. Please pay close attention to the paper weight. Here is the link to the HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Series Printer Series (N911) Product Specifications.
When you go into the Specs page, please scroll down to the Paper-handling Specifications and then to the Supported Paper Sizes.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to write back and I will be happy to help.
Thank you so much for your time.

Actually, the response by the HP staff is close — but no cigar! (Why is that??). Anyway, look instead under Paper Tray Capacities. There, it lists Tray 1 as having the ability to hold 80 110 weight cards, or basically what we papercrafters use for high quality paper crafting. So I assume that since it can hold that much, it can also PRINT on that paper. I know for certain that it prints beautifully on Avery business card paper which I believe is at least 110 lb cardstock if not even heavier. So you should have no problem just using the normal paper Tray to hold the cardstock.
