So I canceled my instant ink service because my printer could never “connect”. I live on campus at my university so I always assumed it was because of its internet. I canceled it think that the message saying to connect would disappear so I could actually print something, but no. It still asks me to connect. I don’t want or need this service. I JUST WANT TO PRINT THINGS OFF! Someone please help me get rid of the message

Hi @MelissaSny,

I'd like to help!

I understand you are unable to print even after canceling the instant ink service.

Are you using instant ink cartridges or regular ink cartridges?

HP Instant Ink cartridges do not work after the end of your current billing period, and you are required to return them to HP. To continue printing after your billing cycle ends, make sure you have standard replacement ink cartridges ready to use in your printer.

If you do not have the postage-paid envelope provided by HP, go to Recycle HP Instant Ink Cartridges to order an envelope.*

Hope this helps!

I’m using regular cartridges not instant ink ones, that’s why I’m so confused and frustrated

Thank you for getting back to me.

Could you share your instant ink account details in a private message?

Could you share an image of the cartridge you are using and where was it purchased?

Let me know!
