Is it possibe to change the entire background color of the picture and not just the frame?  Or is it possible to select a custom color for the exisiting frames?

Hey there! @Hayes2, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!

I understand you need to know whether you can change the entire background color of the picture using your printer.

Don't worry I'd love to help you out.

Are you using any app to print the pictures?

I have checked the printer specifications and you cannot change the background of the image using the default app.

However, you can use the filters and change the picture.

Edit, print, or share your photo from the image preview screen.
• Exit Image Preview by tapping in the upper-right corner.
• Tap the camera icon in the upper-left corner to take another photo.
• Tap the edit icon to personalize your image. See “Edit a Photo”.
Tap the edit icon to adjust the photo’s appearance, add text or stickers, and apply filters. Be sure to save your
creation when editing is complete by tapping the checkmark in the lower right corner.

Refer the printer manual to know more information about using HP sprocket.

Also, if you are trying to print from a smartphone download some photo editing app and change the background of the picture then try printing.

Hope this helps!

Have a wonderful day ahead! 🙂
