Windows 7-This is accurate but the first time I try to print, there is no apparent communication with the printer and the print job I just started just replaces the one I cleared out.  Additional suggestions??

Thank you for the information. I am in the Highlands of Scotland and my printer came to a standstill whilst printing. I have struggled for 24 hours to try and clear and then had an idea to go on line and put in the question how to clear a HP printer queue.  You came to my rescue and it worked.  thank you very much.   My question is - why did it come to a standstill in the first place.  This has happened before but has cleared itself after a couple of days.
