Could you please elaborate on the Paper Sensor?

I checked the service manual and cleaned the transfer belt, but there doesn't appear to be such a part, at least one called a paper sensor.

Here's a link to the service manual:

After searching through the whole thing, I can't find any reference to a paper sensor...

For me, this started happening with one particular PDF document. It was very strange. I selected to print it double sided, and it would print one side, then pull another sheet and immediately jam. I thought the printer was at fault, but then I tried to print other documents, and they printed fine double sided. So there is obviously a way this can happen due to the content of the document being printed. It's not always down to a hardware problem. Incidentally, all documents I printed (working and not) were grayscale, so its not a color vs B&W issue either.
