I updated my router and got a new computer and cannot figure out how to link them to my older printer. I've followed every step I've learned from others' issues and the instructions, but to no avail.

After replacing the router did you reconnect the printer to the new wireless network?
- Press the Setup (
) button on the printer control panel.
- Press the Arrow button (
) to select Network Settings, and then press the OK button.
- Press the Arrow button (
) to select Wireless Setup Wizard, and then press the OK button.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the network setup.

Hi,
Try removing the printer and then re-adding it by opening the preferences tab and then selecting "printers & scanners".
From there, click the minus sign under the printer icon to remove the printer and then re-add it using the plus sign.
If you still can't find the printer, I would try the steps with the usb connected and if a wireless connection is established, then remove it.
If the issue persists, restart your mac and try again and if this doesn't help, then restart your router also.

The problem is that the printer does not show up at all in "printers and scanners". I've tried to type in the name of the printer, but it still doesn't connect. I will try the steps with the USB connected and see if that works, will let you know. Thanks.
