Could any one tell me how ot reset the password used to get into the system setup on the printer.

Welcome to the HP Forums!

 

I understand you're looking for the password for the LaserJet M1536dnf printer.

 

By default there is no password for these settings. If a password is set you can try resetting the printer but this will clear all settings from the printer. To do this turn the printer off and then press and hold the Right Arrow button and the Cancel button (see image below). Keep holding these buttons and turn the printer on. Continue to hold them until the screen shows Permanent Storage Initialization, and then let go.
