Hello,
I have tried countless times to set up my HP Deskjet 3755 to print. It doesn't seem to connect properly to my latop. I live in an apartment and don't have access to the router so I can't restart my router, laptop and printer then try again.
I've tried all the steps from this page: http://support.hp.com/ca-en/product/HP-DeskJet-3700-All-in-One-Printer-series/8954253/model/11262035... but while going through the download there is always an "Internet Connection Error" page that tells me to make sure the router is connected.
I've also tried all the steps on this page: http://support.hp.com/ca-en/product/HP-DeskJet-3700-All-in-One-Printer-series/8954253/model/11262035... but once I get to the part of the download where I connect the printer and my laptop via the USB cable, the download page doesn't pick up that the cord is connected and won't let me click the "next" button.
Can someone please help me?

Hi! @ShaniaStrang, Welcome to HP forums.
I understand that you are unable to print wirelessly from your printer.
Please try the steps mentioned below.
HP provides a free tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor to quickly and automatically perform several troubleshooting tasks known to resolve this issue. When this link is clicked, HP Print and Scan Doctor is downloaded using your Internet browser's download capabilities.
On the Print and Scan Doctor Welcome screen, wait for the tool to locate your printer.
Click Start on the Welcome screen.
If your printer is not listed, make sure the printer is turned on and connected, click My product is not listed, and then click Retry.
Select your printer, and then click Next.
If a connection problem is detected, click the method being used to connect the printer, follow the instructions on the screen, and then click Retry.
Click Fix Printing.
Evaluate the test results.
If you see white checkmarks , the printer passed the tests. Click Test Print or click Skip.
If you see a white wrench , Print and Scan Doctor found an issue and repaired it. Click Test Print or click Skip.
If you see yellow exclamation points , the test failed and required user action, but the step was skipped. Click Test Print or click Skip.
If you see a red X , follow the on-screen instructions to resolve the issue.
If the wireless connection drops, continue to the next step.
Refer this article to further troubleshoot the wireless issue.
Let me know if this works!
Cheers! 🙂
