Hi,
My printer is a Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525. I bought a new 655 Cartridge but it didn't work in my printer. The printer showed that it's a full cartridge but the printed paper was total empty! I made all of the repairing method (head cleanings and new cartridge installations) without any results. The bar of the black colour was empty on the test page too.
I bought another brand new 655 black cartridge and tried again all that I could but the same!!!
I have the newest software for this printer.
So I have two brand new black cartridges and I cant print black! Only colour ones are working!
Do you think taht the printer went wrong? Should I buy a new printer?

Welcome to the HP Forums!
I see that your black cartridge will not work with your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525, and I am happy to help!
If you have gone through all the solutions within this guide, Printer Prints a Blank Page or Does Not Print Black or Color Ink for the HP Photosmart 5520 and Desk.... Then, I would recommend getting a new printer, if it did not help.

Hi!
Thank you very much for your help! I've cleaned the clogged vent with a pin and the black cartredge is working well now!!
I'm angry a little bit because the schlock origin HP cartridges!
But with your help I can use them!
