HP Deskjet F4580
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there I have the deskjet F4580 and while I have no trouble with printing on paper it does not like photo paper. I purchased 2 grades with A4 being a 280gsm and 6x4 being 260gsm. When It tries to print you get a grinding noise as it goes through and it stops. The odd time it gets through but mostly it comes up a printing error. Can anyone help with a solution. Like I said it prints fine on paper.

cheers

For better clarity and to assist you better, I would require more information regarding this.

  • Has the same photo paper worked before?
  • Have you tried with a different brand of photo paper?
  • Which app are you trying to print from?

For now please try with a different photo paper brand as the printer works fine with normal paper.

Please ensure that lesser than 30 sheets of photo paper are placed in the input tray.
