Awful, just awful engineering and software design form HP. Yet, I'm not surprised.

 

As a software engineer myself, and I ask this to the geniuses behind this software, don't you know there is something called "software updates" (and in this case, OS updates). They made it to work only for MacOS 12.0.0 and bellow, not considering any update.

 

And this is probably an easy fix, which will take minutes. To sum up: awful engineering and software design, plus laziness to publish an update!

Experiencing absolutely the same issue. I can't use my hardware. So I had to wipe out of the dust 10+year old win PC in order to print document.  HP please try fixing the issue or provide adequate workaround so we can use our hardware. This is the second time for the last year when this type of printer is left with no good driver for the latest macOS version. This is very annoying!

Same issue here. Interestingly though, my wife's macbook air, with same OS, will run this printer, but it is using a different driver - P1100w, 6.9, which I can't find anywhere. Not sure where it came from, though I suspect it got migrated over when upgraded to the new computer. If anyone knows where I can find this driver, please let me know. Kind of ridiculous that HP has not yet been able to update the driver yet.
