Printer = EPSON WF-2540 Series - 60B384

OS = Windows 8 Blue 6.3.9600

Driver = HP Series Class Driver; version 63.1303.3.00

Problem:

In the process of printing a form (PDF) from the internet the printer began printing job attributes instead of the contents of the form and it won't stop printing the stats over and over.  I have deleted the device and reinstalled.  I have turned of the printer and unplugged it.  I have reset printer to defaults.  There are no jobs in the spooler.  If we create a print job with the printer turned off we get that job printed and then the stats for the internet PDF start to print.

EXAMPLE OF JOB STATS starting with line 1

12345x@pjl set stringcodeset=UTF8

@PJL COMMENT="Job Start Time: Sun Oct 05 14:11:02:658 2014"

@PJL JOB NAME="460int"

These job instructions continue for a third of a page while the remainder is filled with a repeated sequence of "0W0V"

Any help is appreciated.  Tks

Thanks for the reply.  With my wifes computer turned off, I accessed the printer from my desktop and the printer performed as designed.  When I turned on the laptop, the problem as described in the my report began.  This isolated the problem to her computer.  I stopped and started the spooler service and the problem continued.  Finally, I located the spooler files in C:/windows/system32/spool/printers and deleted them.  My wife has printed several docs now and the problem seems solved.

Thanks again for your attention.

Hi @Perfect_Tommy,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Even though you are using an HP driver, I'll have to refer you to Epson support, for further assistance, to see what drivers are available for you.

Best regards! :generic:
