My printer all of sudden displays the 0005FBB6 and blue screen.  I have tried the hard reset.  Nothing.  What can I do?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. From this link, http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-Issues-Troubleshooting/HP-6510-error-0005FBB6/m-p/3265669#M666... , it solved my problem.

Its wifi connection error. It would be good if HP could fix this with new firmware.

Cheers.

What model is the printer? And is it 0005FBB6 or 0x05FBB6 that is displayed?

Excuse me, where is the solution? I do not see anywhere around. I just bought the Photosmart 6520 series and this is only the fourth day of use.

There was a paper jam which I cleared. Now it is not working, asking me to turn off and then on again. When I did that, it started and then this message 0005FBB6 flash for a moment and then I was asked to turn off and then on again. This happens over and over again. Please help.

Hi ylfun2002

Make sure the printer is connected directly to wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector)

I have included a document to do a power reset, clear any more jammed paper, check the carriage to see if it moves freely, how to check the posts in the cartridge parking area are not blocking the carriage.

Hi Gemini02,

I have the same error code 0005fbb6 displayed briefly and then "Please turn printer off and then on" message. I tried everything shown on the video on how to clear jam, replace inks and etc. but i got the same error code.

What else can i do? I'm using HP PhotoSmart 6510.

Thanks
