HP OfficeJet Pro 8720
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I keep getting this Error code: 0xc19a0023 Printer head appears to be missing or not detected.

I have updated all software and tryed a hard reset it worked a few times but now nothing works and of corase the warrenty expired in november. and this started in December. Go figure.

Any help would be appreciated. Am I going to have to buy a new printer head or should I just buy a new printer.

Any thing else to try before buying a new printer.

It does not make sence to spend $160 on a print head and take a chance on it not solveing the problum.

@John2941

Since you have tried all the steps and issue persists, I suspect this is a printhead or a printer issue. There is no other troubleshoots steps that can fix this issue other than replacing the printhead or upgrading the printer if it is out of warranty.

Okay HP you have a software problem. I canceled my instant Ink account, and then the printer needed to do an update to remove the instant ink software from the printer. After the instant ink software was removed my printer is working fine now. No more printer head problem.

Please let me know when you get this fixed. and I will restart my Instant Ink Account.

@John2941

This may be a Instant Ink cartridge issue.
