HP 19-2114 All-In-One Desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Unable to connect HP 2540 ePrint All-In-One Printer............Used the HP Support Assistant to download  update, but

 

FAILED.   Also used Troubleshooter that came back error while attempting to install !

 

                                                                        INSTALLATION ERROR

 

                        Call to Driver package install returned  ERROR 536870141 for C:\program files\hp\hpdeskjet2540

                         series\driverstore\NGScandriver\hpwia_DJ2540.inf

Thank you for joining the HP Forums! 

 

I noticed that you cannot connect your HP Deskjet 2540 printer, on Windows 10, and I am happy to help! 

 

How is the printer connected, Wireless or USB?

 

Are you able to print a test page, as shown in this video? Printing a Test Page.

 

Do you see any blinking lights on the printer? 

 

In the meantime, please try our HP Print and Scan Doctor, and let me know the results!
