Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

The subject printer generates the error message "Printer in error mode" when trying to print a document.  What troubleshooting steps do I need to go through to try to resolve the problem?  Thanks for any advice.

Hi CDSherlock,

 

Try a power reset to resolve the issue

While printer is on, disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer.

Then disconnect the power cable from the wall outlet.

Wait 10 seconds,then reconnect the power cable back to the wall outlet first, and then the back of the printer and power it on again.
