Hi! I am quite disappointed here. I have using my whole week finding the solutions for my printer's problem and finally, I bought a new catridge hoping that my previous catridge was damaged. After installing new catridge, my printer still showing that my ink is not detected.

Problem: the black catridge are not detected. Exclamation mark signal light is on, the black ink indicator blink with a droplet. I tried everything but it seems that my printer is the problem. I've try resetting the printer, bought new ink, reinstall the HP software on pc and clean the copper with swab. What should i do next? Just send the printer to the repair shop? I just hope that I can solve the issue myself :'(

Welcome to the HP Forums @Harrypotter11, 😄

I wanted to respond to your post about the issues you're facing with your Deskjet Ink Advantage 2515 and the black ink cartridge problem. My advice would be to check out the documents I posted down below, and try any steps you may not have tried. If the issue continues, contact HP directly as you will need a replacement printer or new unit. I will also include their contact details below. I hope this post helps you!

  1. Color or Black Ink Not Printing
  2. A 'Cartridge Problem,' 'Ink Cartridge Failure,' 'Incompatible Ink Cartridges,' or 'Cartridge Missing...

If you have any troubles with the steps, let me know and I will do my best to help.

Click the thumbs up below to say 'thanks' & the "Accept as Solution" if the issue has been resolved please and thanks! 😄
