One of my 525's is getting a communication error (82). I did find this site for error codes http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/buu02549, but thats all I can find. Does anybody have any other place to find fax error codes?

The link you posted does not work for me.

Here is the resource that I use:

I am unfamilliar with error 82, it sounds like its too low to be a normal fax error message.  Checking the M525s support area I found this document:

http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/troubleshootDisplay/?sp4ts.oid=5...

From this page it would appear that anything other than a 17 or a 36 is a general communication error.  You should try disabling a feature known as ECM (Error Correction Mode).  ECM is known to cause many issues with modern day telephone lines.
