How do I get a replacement? The warranty on this printhead ends 2017/07/29. SN is 5953489. I tried the HP site but could find no information on this. As a result my printer is ded in the water. Any help would be appreciated. I just bought this not too long ago. Thanks for any assistance.

I see that you are facing issues with the Officejet 8500A printer. I understand that you are trying to replace the print head. Do not worry, I’m here to help!
First off, did you try the steps listed here: http://hp.care/2qFHQXl
Check Solution 2 which explains how to clean the print head manually.
If that do not fix the issue, then please contact the HP phone support to get the repair options.
HP Technical Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: http://h22207.www2.hp.com/us-en/?openCLC=true
(1) Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.
(2) Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.
(3) Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.
(4) Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!
Good luck 🙂
