After spending in excess of 9 hrs over two days with HP techs, all of whom were very professional, the last one a few minutes ago told me that there is a known issue with drivers not loading on computers with upgraded OS systems.
I bought this printer for $85 used it from Sept 16 until eirly April, with all software function's working flawless. I love the software features, so when it failed, i was willing to work with HP tech to resolve the issue. I am a consultant, so my time is very important, much more per hour than the $85 I paid for this printer. Had I been told from the outset by HP either at time of purchase or at the beginning of the tech service effort on this problem, I would have simply trashed the printer, purchased another and moved on. I would not have been angry with HP, but now, I am somewhat upset to say the least. I and my associates purchase a lot of HP hardware, and expect more from HP about compatability, or the lack of.
