HP C4795 All IN ONE Printer

I am needing help to find where I can go to get the driver and software installation for my HP C4795 All in One Printer.

I have tried to go to 123.HP.com or HP Support but was unable to find any downloadable files for this printer for either the software or drivers.

The only options on HP Support were for diagnostics and ePrint, but did not have a button to download the driver and software.

Also, the Support Center Solution application that came with this printer says that the Adobe Flash is outdated, but come to find out that HP has no solution for users to fix this issue. Is there a fix for this as well?

I was able to run the software installation based on your link.  Thank you!

The last step was to enter the WPA Passphrase to connect printer to my router.  Unfortunately,  I am getting the error below:

When attempting to connect the printer to your wireless network, an Invalid Passphrase error displays. The error displays after entering the WPA or WPA2 wireless security passphrase for your printer. If the error displays when a correct passphrase is entered, then the printer firmware might not be compatible with the PMF technology and a firmware updated is needed.

I am 100% confident that I am entering the correct Network Security Key (password) to connect printer to network.  Based on the error message above, it would appear that the printer's firmware is not compatible with my router's technology?  I am supposing that this new technology is not backwards compatible with older devices? I am currently using WPA2-Personal for my network encryption.

Are there any updates to the software installation that resolves this security encryption issue? Or is there some kind of work around for this issue?

Hi @copejack ,

..,.,.,..,.,

Yes, this is an issue with older equipment that may or may not be compatible.

1. You may change the Wireless Security, depending on your router options.

2. Because the HP C4795 was manufactured around 2010 or 2011, the wireless card is more compatible with WEP security option.

3. Some Netgear routers are able to change to WEP security. (Wired Equivalente Privacy option)

4. And the other option is to connect the printer with a USB Cable.

 5. Depending on your router options and use of the printer  ( Home, Office, Work) you can choose

the best option (wireless connect, usb connection) for your needs.

Best regards,

ferRX.
