My HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw is printing ok, but is grinding with a high pitch sound.

I opened it, blew it out with air, front, back, paper tray, toner tray, etc. I don't see anything broken or loose.

But I need to know if how to fix this or find someone who can in my area.

This happened a while back, but worked it self out..this time, it's not!!!!

We use this in an office setting.

Thank you!

It could be a toner issue. Remove all 4 toners and start inserting them one by one, after each toner is installed close the door to the printer starts to rotate, if the grinding noise starts the last toner inserted could be the cause.

That was exactly it!!!! I got through to tech support. The toner cart was low and was trying to pull from nothing so was grinding. Once I changed it, it was fine. thank you for the reply!
