The 10.10 Supply Memory Error is related to the cartridge memory tag that can be seen on the left side of the cartridge (2-square gold contacts).

I suggest checking all the connectors/wires of the memory tag reading circuit.

Thank you for that.  The red and the white wires that run above the printer to the left side run to a plug that needs to be seated into the female slot.  When you open and close the front door it rases and lowers the bar that makes contact to the cartridges themselves.  I had not allowed enough space for it to lower on the contacts.  When I closed the door, the plug became loose.  I have reseated the connector.

After re-assembly the printer is displaying error code 51.23  It says to turn off and back on, I have done this numerous times, reference shows that it could be the yellow cartridge not engaging correctly?  I have replaced the toner cartridge with those from a diffent printer of the same model.  The other printer has no problem with the catridge in question.

I have also tried a new cartridge from the bpox, yes I removed all the plastic orange tabs.

Hello,

The 51.23 Error is a "Laser Error" with the yellow laser.  I reccomend checking all connections involving the laser scanner.  While your in there, you should check all connections and make sure they are seated and in good condition.

FFCs (Flat Flexible Connectors) are notorious for causing bizarre Print Quality issues and errors that inspecting the FFC end condition and verifying a good seated contact in the connector socket are very critical.

I hope this helps,

Thank you sir (or ma'am)!!!!  That did it!  I guess the third tme is the charm.

I had actually not hooked up the black switch at the top of the front doorcorrectly.  It has a spring lever and the spring was not resting where it was suppose to.  I reseated ALL connections this time, even if I didn't touch it last time just to be sure, and I used some compressed air on the components as well.

I re-assmbled the printer and it prints again and without the lines!!!!  I appreciate all your help on this!  Thank you so much!
