I cannot print with my HP Color Laserjet CP 2025 nor with Windows 7 neither Windows 98.

The alarm appear: "replace toner magenta"

but there is still ink for 90 pages with the magenta, and it stopped totaly!!

Thank you in advance!

I know that this post is older, but you would have better exposure going forward if posting on the enterprise side of the forum. This is a consumer printer board. Your printer would be better served by community members of the enterprise board because of their knowledge in addressing problems with this line of printers. Here is a link for you to go to so that you can post your question and can receive the assistance you need. http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-LaserJet/bd-p/bsc-413#.UDaYSdaPUaA

You can override this message from the control panel which should enable you to print again.  Here are the instructions:

  1. From the main menu, press Right arrow to System setup and press Select.

  2. Press Right arrow to Print quality and press Select.

  3. Press Right arrow to Replace Supplies and press Select.

  4. Press Right arrow to Override out and press Select.

  5. Press Select.

If Stop at out is selected, the printer will stop printing when a cartridge reaches the recommended replacement point. If Override out is selected, the printer will continue printing when a cartridge reaches the recommended replacement point. The factory default setting is Stop at out .

In respect to the complain above, does it mean I don't need to buy a cartridge sensor when it stops printing? The last time that happened, I was made buy a sensor (one small chip on the cartridge)
I felt bad anyway, coz it was expensive.
should I try the same process? for my 2025 printer
