I tried shutting down my HP Deskjet 3052A printer and after a couple minutes it told me this: "ERROR CODE OXO2A6C2ED SM_MODULE C" Maybe the "O's" in the error code were zeros, I'm not sure. What does that mean? It does this quite often and it's getting really annoying.... Any help is appreciated!

The error has to do with the cartridges or could be a hardware issue with the printer.

 

I have provided a document for An Alphanumeric Code (Example: '0x......' or 'C2......') Displays on the Front Panel When Printing.
 

Here is a document for 'Incompatible Print Cartridge' or 'Print Cartridge Problem' Message Displays on the Computer. It provides steps for cleaning the contacts on the cartridges.

I am getting the same error on shut down - just bought the HP Envy 5540 a few days ago. Guessing it can't be an issue with the print Carthage as they are brand new OEM.
