I have just purchased the all in one printer and successfully set it up and was working fine. After an hour or so the scanner stopped working then I got the following error code which now appears every time I switch on/hard reboot

Error code OXC4EB827F HWLMICCI 2

I have been through all the guides on the HP Doctor and also tried using it via USB but the printer cannot connect to my PC and my PC will not pick it up so I can seem to even reinstall it.

Help please, I bought this in Colombo and dont want to go through the expense/effort of going all the way back and trying to get a replacement (this is Sri Lanka so customer service is appaling).

Hello @N1ckyJ , and welcome to the HP Forums!

I can see from your post that you're experiencing 0x errors.  I would like to try and help with that!

I would recommend removing the ink cartridges from the printer, and performing a power reset: Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.

I would then suggest following the steps laid out in this document on a 'Problem with Printhead,' 'Printer Failure,' 'Ink System Failure,' or a '0x...' or a 'C2...' Error...

Please let me know the results.  Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

Hi Jamieson,
I have tried all this without success. I contacted HP support by chat and was told it was a known hardware failure which could not be resolved by me. I was also told that I could only get the printer replaced in the US or Canada. I was given a number to call to arrange 'something' but this number either dials 'engaged' or does not connect at all. I live in Sri Lanka and only bought the printer four days ago. I get the feeling I have wasted my money in a faulty item and now cannot get a replacement. This is not good service at all. Thanks for the reply by the way.
