HP Envy 4500
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I purchased my printer about a year ago, along with some inkjet shrink film (Grafix KSF6-WIJ 8 1/2 in by 11 in). It worked perfectly fine when I first tried it last year, but it's not anymore.

I placed one shrink film sheet in, changed the paper type to glossy, and began printing the file. The paper was taken in like it normally would be, but it jammed at the large wheels (sorry, my printer vocabulary isn't great lol). I unjammed, checked for any obstruction, and cancelled the printing. I tried again with photo paper option and again with specialty paper option. No luck. Normal paper works fine, but the shrink sheets just don't work. They used to, but now they don't.  It just can't seem to pass through the wheels.

I don't see any manual back feed or anything, so I assume this printer doesn't have one. Checked with a flashlight for any obstructions. Tried different paper options. The printer has been lightly used and it's in perfect condition. I'm really not sure where to go from here. Any help is appreciated!

Hey @GiannaRose, welcome to the HP Forums!

Although shrink film paper is not listed as a supported paper type in the printer's specifications, I'd like to try to help. I imagine being a film the paper is lighter than photo paper and transparencies should be selected in the paper type settings. If I'm wrong and the film is heavier, you might consider choosing card stock if available. If changing the paper type does not resolve the issue, you might consider contacting Grafix to see what they suggest.

I hope this helps.
