Envy 7640
macOS 10.12 Sierra

I've just installed an HP Envy 7640 & the only issue that I am having is that the printouts are coming out 1st page fitst, so the pages are in reverse order when you pick them up off the output tray.

Is there any way so that the last page gets printed 1st, so that the pages are in the correct order when you pick them up off the output tray?

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you want to change the print order as back to front on HP Envy 7640 printer. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

  • Right click on the printer.
  • Select Printing preferences.
  • Under layout > Look or print order.
  • Set it to “back to front”

Let me know if that helps.

Cheers.

Hi @mbushnell,

Thank you for your reply, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that the computer is Mac and not Windows.

Let me jump in with a solution for this issue in place of my colleague as he is out of the office today.

Please follow the steps listed below to change the page order in Mac OS.

  1. Choose File > Print.

  2. If you see a Show Details button, click it.

  3. Click the print options pop-up menu (within the separator bar), then choose Paper Handling.

  4. Click the Page Order pop-up menu, then choose Reverse.

  5. Click Print.

You may also check the link: Print Driver Settings Guide (Mac)

Let me know if this works.

You have a good day ahead.

Thanks for the reply.

Just curious to know, if you got time to perform above steps.

And what is the outcome if it.

Cheers.
