HP Recommended

Hi All,

I also got this problem (the printer can print test page and from other program like AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat Reader, etc. but can't print from Office program like Word, Excel). After we send the print command but the computer does not send any thing to the printer (I really it when I check in status of the printer)

I followed many way (automatic repair & diagnose, reintall the driver, reintall the MS Office 2003 and 2007...) on this forum but can's solve the problem.

I found a best way from Internet and I'd like to share to you:

Solution:

1. Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\User Accounts.

2. Choose "Change User Account Control settings

3. Choose "Never notify"

So, it works well. But a thing I dislike is after I update the computer (by Windows Update), Windows will return to the next level because "Never notify" is unsafe (by Windows recommend).

I guess that this problem cause by Windows notify function of Windows 7, Windows prevent the Office programs send the print command to the printer.

This is the temp. solution, I think MS or HP must be help us to pernament solve this problem.

Good luck to you.
