Hello.

Can you please send me these instructions for factory reset? My printer will not connect to wireless and the router was changed. I tried all possible ways, but not successful. Really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Sanjay

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

1. Remove the USB cable from the printer. 2. Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer control panel for 20 seconds. 3. When the Attention LED and the Power LED start blinking together, release the Wireless button. The printer restarts automatically. 4. When the Ready LED is on, continue to install the software.

Once done, try connecting the Printer to the new Wi-Fi.

Let me know if this helps.

Hi Betty.  I tried the steps again several times, still no luck.  Only the power button will blink, and the display just shows "HP".   What else can I try?

We'll have to perform a reset on the Printer for this. I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.

Please do check your inbox on the communities page for the private message.

Hi,

I tried your steps but it does not seem to work.

After attempting to reset, the blue wifi button still keep blinking.

Can you send me a pm on other ways to fix this?

Thanks

I have apparently set a custom password on my printer that I can't remember.  I have held the wireless button but that only reset the wifi settings.  How can I put the entire printer back to factory new settings?
