Minecast is a real problem. We have 5 printers all with Open access to anyone and we still get a lot of random jobs that do not print. Occasionally we will get the Mimecast print out to allow/block, but obviously we cannot click on the link on a piece of paper. HP please get ride of Mimecast for hp connected printers.
Also some printers would say "Manage Print Anywhere" and others would be ePrint Access with options to Open to all, Blocked, Allowed. Why are they different for the same HP connected printer?

I have an HP8710 - I am trying to print copies of a travel itinerary from Delta Airlines as I have many times in the past. But now don't print. After a while I get a printed page from the printer headed by HP Mimecast stating that my messages are on hold due to "spam policy". I don't know how to access the Mimecast Personal Portal to release the messages for printing.

Trying to print work order PDFs and when the company emails it to my hpeprint account a get a page that reads:
”Important: The following messages addressed to you are currently on hold
The mimecast personal portal helps you manage your Mimecast On Hold email queue in real-time.
The following massages, addressed to you, are currently on hold:
From: *csmith@emcatlanta.com* Subject: 3115 W/O”
I then am given a list of options to click to either release, block or permit the message but where this is a printed price of paper obviously cannot click the options given.
I’ve never heard of Mimecast before, so not have an account to which I can sign in to choose for my printer to permit this document. I see I’m not the only person facing this issue and I find the lack of help absurd.

Yeah, frustrating isn't it?? And don't you just love the heading on this thread that says "SOLVED"??
I'm done. We were having some additional minor issues with our printer - ones I could live with IF the stupid thing would actually print. But this was the straw. So yup, SOLVED it myself - bought a new printer - obviously NOT an hp. And oh gosh! Now I can actually print what I want, when I want.

This is utterly ridiculous. I've had my printer for YEARS and have been able to eprint without any hesitation or hold. Now HP has decided to update their security without informing their customers and everyone has to contact HP about this ONE issue. Why not send out a customer wide email informing everyone of what to do to resolve the issue? We have to wait until an employee sends a scripted response for the issue. Being proactive instead of reactive is a better look!

@Dilip_18
Are you serious ?
You reply to one person once in a while but for everyone else you don't reply to them.
I wrote several messages to indicate that I had no private message in my profile on this forum but I never got your answer or any other solution to the Mimecast issue...
