I would like to confirm that my email associated with my printer is cleared, and I would also like my work email added. Can you reach out to me, as well?
Thanks!
Lorie

Hello @Dilip_18

It seems i do not have an inbox

I tried checking here https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage

But its says access denied.   I am looking everywhere on my profile page but i see no where with a private message

Nothing came to my email either

You need to have an account and sign-in.  Upper right corner is Sign Up/Sign In.  Once signed in there will be an icon in the upper right with private messages.  They need your printer's email address and then Mimecast removes that from their system and all things work again.

Same issue here -- signed in, but no inbox and access denied to the inbox URL ... is there some way to "upgrade" or verify the account to support PMs?

Hi@nogoodprinter,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd love to help. I'd need the ePrint email address of the printer.

I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi, I am having the same problem with ePrint. Can you please help me resolve the Mimecast problem for my printer?

Hi @Dilip_18 - thanks for your note, but unfortunately I don't see any private message function on the forum. I see where other people can see an envelope and/or send private messages, but that functionality doesn't appear to be enabled for me. I just see the little "notification bell" next to my username in the upper right, but no envelope. Is there another way to contact you, or a way to turn that on? I looked through all the settings screens and didn't see any private message settings but maybe I missed something. Thank you!

@Dilip_18

Hi, I just sent you a private message with my email info. Could you please add these to the Mimecast allow list so that I can use the ePrint feature? THanks

Our prints were also trapped by the MIMECAST spamfilter. And I am also not able to find the PM button. Even through the help text explaining where its location is, I'm unable to locate it. Maybe the help text could use a link or two to point us in the right direction.

So... how do I send the affected printer's e-mail address to, to have it whitelisted with MIMECAST? We've chosen to only allow necessary senders, which would narrow down the potential amount of possible spam... depending on where the filter is in regard to MIMECAST of course.

For an HP solution, I'd have expected a self service way of managing the ability to get hp eprint through. Kudos for fighting spam not getting printed, but not so much for the way it's implemented.
