OfficeJet 3833

HP OfficeJet 3833. Won't print black. Won't copy black. Paper just comes out blank. Have run Print Quality Test print and anything that should be black is blank. Cartridges are HP genuine and ink meter shows they are more than half full. (Was more full but have tried multiple cleanings to no avail!)  Have removed cartridges and tried cleaning and reinstalling.  Have tried "hard reset" recommended in this forum.

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you are unable to print in black.

  

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP DeskJet, OfficeJet 3830, 5730 printers - No black ink, wrong colors, other print quality issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
